Good morning all you dirty birdies! Can you believe it’s already June? After May, I’m thrilled to see some sunshine. In my area, May had a record setting 247 mm of rain during the month. That is more than May, June, July & August 2016 put together! I never thought it would end. However, my hay fields are happy and farmers appreciate the early fortune dousing the crops so far. I’ll be sure to report how things are going come August.
It’s been a busy time for me. I’ve gone back out into the workforce. All my kids are of the age now that I no longer attend Parent Council (PTA for my US friends), go on school trips or have to be home when they get out of school. I do miss it, and while it was nice writing full time, economy wise I had to do it in order to stay ahead of finances. And our oldest son is off to college this fall, so there’s that. It’s been a couple weeks working now and I’ve been exhausted but my characters keep me company as I work diligently.
I am going to be a part of a Romantic Suspense Boxed Set that will release Jan 2018, so that story is first and foremost in my mind. Along with the 2 shifter stories crowding around in my head. I look forward to the stolen moments to write in between shifts and sleep. And a high school graduation, a prom and a 21st birthday party this week for our daughter. Where does the time go? Seems just like yesterday I was bawling my eyes out when the Dr. placed her in my arms. And what a set of lungs on her!! LOL

I’m finishing up the last bit of polish on the sequel to Stirring Up Dirty as well. It’s been a slow process, as I wasn’t 100% satisfied with it, so there’s been a bit of revising to the first draft — which is what first drafts are for, of course! I’m hoping to ship that submission off in the next week.
Until next time,
