Good morning everyone! I hope December is already being kind to you. My little area of Ontario, Canada, has had the oddest weather imaginable. From snow to rain, mild to freezing temps, it’s an up and down, merry g0-round kind of crazy. Mother Nature doesn’t seem to want to make up her mind. Can’t say I mind though. The lack of snow is nice, makes for better driving.
It’s been a busy few months for me. I completed 3 stories in the last six months. Two brand new and one re-issue that’s had extensive revisions. It has been amazing to feel that I’ve made progress with my writing after an uphill battle. And I’m pleased to say that Evernight Publishing will be releasing ALL 3 books!! In fact, the first one — COVER ME — releases December 13th!! I’m over the moon and have already jumped in to writing another story. Feels awesome.
Wanting her son’s best friend shouldn’t feel so right …
Jay Savage is one of the most sought-after models in the business who seems to have it all. He’s the face of romance novel covers from coast to coast and has expanded his brand to an executive role. Despite the endless possibilities in his life, Jay doesn’t have is the one woman he wants most. Leanne is everything he needs, and everything he can’t have. Their age difference isn’t the only obstacle standing in the way of convincing her they were made for one another: Leanne is also his best friend’s mom.
On a visit to Nita Lake to celebrate the marriage of her son, Leanne Hogan is faced with the most delicious temptation she’s ever encountered. The smoldering heat she and Jay share burns down her defenses, and Leanne finds herself giving in to the only man who tempts her banked desires. They shouldn’t work. They can’t work. So why does it feel so right when she’s in his arms?
And another highlight for me was just a few weeks ago. Some wonderful friends took me to Toronto for a girl’s night and we had a blast. We were VIPs at a nightclub where … and it’s still surreal … Shemar Moore would be! He was in town promoting his Indie film, The Bounce Back, and had the event “A Night with Shemar Moore”. It was bloody fantastic!! The man is everything he portrays himself to be with the sweetest smile, strongest arms and splendid dance moves. I couldn’t believe it the moment he walked through the door, to the wonderful hugs, and his sweetness. One of the best nights of my life!
Right now is the season of family, love and laughter. It’s craziness around here as I prepare for the holidays and try to stay ahead of things in order to take a few days off. It’s not happening as well as I’d like but I’m working hard at it. 🙂
Til next time,
