Oh, that muse… #MondayRamblings from Doris (@mamaD8)

Hi, lovely peeps, Doris here with some Monday ramblings. You may or may not have noticed that I have been missing in action on here a little, or that should probably be non-action. I simply had nothing else to say.

You see, my muse has been a stubborn little madam, which meant it took a long time to complete my latest manuscript. I’m happy to say that story, Taken by the Biker Dom has now been submitted, and wouldn’t you know it, the little madam has stopped sulking. I’m almost 5 k into a new story, which is practically writing itself.

The difference, of course, is that my muse, bless her cottons, wants me to write this story.

Muses, I tell you. They’re a bit like men. Can’t live with them, can’t live without them.

*snort*

On a serious note, I get twitchy when I don’t have anything to show on my coming soon page, so I’m doubly glad my muse and I are in agreement again. Especially as NaNoWriMo is coming up fast. I am once again participating, and I believe we will be writing book three in my Cleaners series. This is Ace’s story, for those of you following the series and has a tentative working title of His Mistake.

Just to remind you who Ace is… 😉

One cocky medic is about to come face to face with his past in this story.

*rubs hands in glee*

If you want to join me in my NaNo efforts you can find me here.

That’s all from me today.

Do stay naughty, folks.

Oh Doris, I feel really awful that you had to write something you didn’t want to write. (You know that I love Ace, I would have been just as happy with him) But words can’t express how happy you have made me when I don’t have anything to be happy about these days. I’m just sorry you had such an awful time writing it. I think it’s brilliant though. ??

    • Ah, ((((Sandie)))) I love your Micah, he was just hard work, because my muse kept going off on a tangent, when I really wanted to finish him.

She gets like that. Like I said, little madam with the attention span of gnat 😉

LOL! No doubt she’ll do the same half way through Ace’s story. x

  2. I love Micah!! Glad he got his time to shine.
