I was going to write a post about new beginnings and my plans for 2014, but on reflection the things I hope for this year are not so different from 2013! So, as we head rapidly into January (the 6th already!) I realize that much of what I wanted remains the same this year.
First and foremost, and separate to anything writing-related, I wish for good health and happiness for my family, friends and loved ones – and that includes my extended internet family too!
Demon of Envy, the fifth installment in my Gods of Love series about the ancient Greek gods of desire, should be out soon. This erotic novella features Phthonos, god of envy & jealousy, brother to the erotes and son to the goddess Aphrodite. He has been given a second chance at life and love in the mortal realm, and is desperate to make up for the mistakes of his past. But is Phthonos more demon than god? And if the demon envy wins out, how will this lonely god ever find room in his heart for love?
That release hopefully will be followed by Ice Queen, the final novella in the series and the one in which Eros will need to draw upon every bit of help he can get from Pothos, Himeros, Anteros and even Phthonos, the black sheep demon/god of envy.
As sad as I will be to finish writing the Gods of Love series, I am excited to announce that I’m currently at work on a secret project – a collaboration with a number of other erotic romance authors. I can’t wait to share more about that soon.
In 2014 I plan to continue building my lovely Street Team, and I invite you to check out our group on Facebook. Monthly prizes for active participants are diverse and include wine charm sets, iPhone covers, signed books, advance review copies of eBooks, gift cards, stationery and much more. Sound interesting? If you like erotic romance and are over 18 years of age, check out the group HERE.
That’s it from me for now. So, over to you – what are your hopes, plans and dreams for 2014?
