Ha, I bet you never thought you’d see those two phrases in the same sentence, did you? Illicit Relations and Jack Skellington. Fear not, I’m not here to talk about having illicit relations with Jack Skellington. Rather, it’s two separate topics.
The Illicit Relations part refers to my brand new m/m erotic romance novella, the name of which I’m sure you’ve already guessed 😉 It came out yesterday as part of Ellora’s Cave’s Boys Will Do Boys series. It’s ever-so-slightly taboo as it deals with second cousins maybe getting it on… or maybe not. You’ll have to read it and find out 😉
Here’s the blurb:
Terry’s had a crush on his second cousin Justin for what seems like forever. He’s hidden it as well as possible, knowing that the other man is out of bounds, forbidden fruit. Second cousins getting together isn’t actually illegal, but for Justin the relationship is too close—he just can’t contemplate them being together.
But when some new information comes to light about Terry’s birth and his place in the family, the whole game changes. Suddenly the relationship isn’t so impossible, and things soon begin to get hot and heavy.

And now onto the King of Cool, Jack Skellington. This is, of course, me sticking to the month’s theme, where we’re discussing our favourite holiday movies. I have to say, I’m not a fan of the traditional type of holiday movie, and I haven’t even seen any of the ones the rest of the Birdies have discussed so far. But I adore Tim Burton films, most especially The Nightmare Before Christmas. For those of you that don’t know, it’s a film that successfully straddles both Halloween and Christmas, so you can watch it any time from October to December. Or in fact, any other month 😉 Jack is in charge of Halloween, usually, but he decides he wants to have a bash at Christmas one year, and what ensues is… well… a nightmare. It’s a really good fun film and I watch it every year without fail 🙂 I definitely recommend you check it out if you haven’t seen it before.
Now I shall leave you to enjoy the run up to the holidays. Don’t forget to kink up your Kindles with the work of the Birdies, and have a lovely time.
